books are breath

A life without books is a very hollow existence indeed. Nothing else has the power to make me laugh out loud, cry like a baby, or scream in rage like reading a book can. I am open to all genres and am willing to give almost anything a try, even if it's outside my normal scope. My faves are thrillers/suspense but I am also into paranormal, drama, chick lit and YA. This is my first blog, so forgive my ignorance and if you see something I can improve, do tell. :)

Review: Midnight Crossroad by Charlaine Harris

Midnight Crossroad - Charlaine Harris

This was one I really looked forward to, because I loved the Southern Vampire series with Sookie Stack house. I've never seen True Blood but it's hugely successful I gather and it's based on those books so........I digress. Lol! Anyway, the very beginning of the book was iffy but once I got rolling, it was a very interesting story! I became very fond of several characters and in certain parts, I literally laughed out loud. I am excited for the next installment!!!!
